A heartbreaking incident has emerged from the Thar desert, where a young Pakistani couple lost their lives while attempting to cross into India illegally after repeated visa rejections.
The teenage pair — a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl — reportedly faced strong opposition from their families and had unsuccessfully tried to obtain Indian visas. Determined to be together, they made a desperate decision to cross the heavily patrolled border on foot through the harsh terrain of Rajasthan’s desert.
