Popular TikToker Samiya Hijab has accused a young man from Lahore of attempting to kidnap her after she rejected his marriage proposal. She further alleged that the same man has been threatening to kill her for the past three months.
In a video statement shared on social media, Samiya explained that the man repeatedly pressured her into marrying him. “First, he used to tell me to marry him. I rejected his proposal, but he kept following me,” she said.
According to her account, the harassment escalated when the suspect appeared outside her home. At the time, her mother was unwell, and her brother was not present. Samiya claimed that the man tried to snatch her phone, forced her towards his car, and attempted to abduct her. “I also have a recording of this,” she added.

The TikToker also linked her ordeal to a tragic past case. She referenced her friend, Sana Yousaf, who was allegedly murdered after refusing a marriage proposal. “I don’t want to be Sana. I don’t want to be among those girls who cannot speak up for themselves,” Samiya said, stressing the dangers women face in such situations.
She confirmed that Islamabad Police had officially recorded her statement and registered a report. Expressing hope for justice, Samiya urged the authorities to take immediate action.
Appealing directly to the Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Samiya Hijab called for stricter measures to protect women from harassment and threats. “There are many girls going through the same situation, but they cannot speak out,” she stated, urging society to stand with victims.
The incident has sparked public concern, with many social media users demanding swift action against the suspect. For now, Samiya continues to seek justice and hopes her case will encourage other women to raise their voices against harassment and violence.
