Renowned actor and director Yasir Nawaz has shared the heartbreaking news of his brother Waqar Nawaz’s passing. He made the announcement on Tuesday through a heartfelt social media post.
“With deep sorrow, we share that our beloved and caring brother Waqar Nawaz has passed away. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience and strength to his family – Ameen,” Yasir wrote. He also requested fans and followers to remember Waqar in their prayers.

Waqar Nawaz was also the brother of actor and director Danish Nawaz, Faraz Nawaz, and Anzalna. The Nawaz family is known for its significant contributions to Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
The funeral prayers for Waqar Nawaz were held today after Zuhr prayers in Karachi, attended by family, friends, and well-wishers who came to offer their condolences and support.
