Actors Zara Noor Abbas and Imran Abbas believe that staying authentic is the key to success in showbiz. As guests on Asim Yar Tiwana’s show Star and Style, the two discussed how they have resisted industry pressures to conform and have remained true to themselves.
Zara highlighted the challenges of the entertainment world, stating, “People try to change you according to their comfort, but real success is when you stay connected to your roots.” Imran echoed similar sentiments, addressing speculations about his youthful appearance. “People ask if I’ve had surgeries, but it’s all about mindset. Think young, and it will reflect on your face and personality,” he shared.

Imran also revealed that while he has been advised to change certain aspects of himself to fit industry standards, he has always prioritized comfort over conformity. “I’ve been asked to talk in a deeper voice, but I refused because I knew I wouldn’t be comfortable,” he said. Zara reinforced Imran’s sincerity, adding that her family, including Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas, admire his genuine nature.
While Zara has taken a break from acting to focus on her YouTube show What MomSense?!, Imran recently starred in Jee Ve Sohneya Jee (2024), a cross-border love story. Both actors continue to make their mark while staying true to their values.
