Zara Noor Abbas Criticizes Pakistan’s Entertainment Sector as a Small Community

Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas recently shared her thoughts on the state of the country’s entertainment sector, suggesting that it should be considered a small community rather than a full-fledged industry. During an appearance on a Ramadan transmission hosted by Danish Taimoor, Zara pointed out the lack of recognition for supporting crew members, stating that a true industry values all professionals involved in the creative process.

Zara highlighted the concentration of opportunities among a select few individuals, limiting the growth of emerging talent. “We have an abundance of creative talent from cities like Lahore and Faisalabad, but the demand stays limited to a handful of people,” she remarked.

In response, Danish Taimoor disagreed with Zara’s view, arguing that Pakistan’s drama sector has grown significantly over the past decade. He emphasized the progress made in the industry compared to its earlier days.

Zara Noor Abbas, known for her performances in popular TV dramas such as “Khamoshi” and “Ehd-e-Wafa,” continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment world. Her recent role in “Standup Girl,” where she portrayed a young woman aspiring to be a stand-up comedian, has received much praise.
