In an interview with the media, Misbah revealed that he had not got any contact from any PCB official regarding any role, following a big transition in management.
“When they will contact me, then I will see. I already have a lot of prior commitments, whether it is with leagues or with television channels,” Misbah said.
The former cricketer noted that accepting any post in the PCB will be difficult for him because it is uncertain what responsibilities the cricket board will assign him.
Following changes in the Management Committee, Abdul Razzaq suggested earlier this week that Misbah-ul-Haq could return as the team’s head coach.
The former all-rounder stated in an interview that the newly appointed management would not rush to change the coaching system, but they will do so sooner or later.
It is worth noting that Misbah-ul-Haq previously served as the national team’s head coach and Chief Selector, but resigned as Chief Selector after one year.
During his time as head coach, the national team won the Test series against South Africa, their first such triumph since 2003.
