Murad Ali Shah Wins First Unofficial Result of Elections 2024

The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader and former Sindh chief minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has emerged victorious in the PS-77 Jamshoro constituency of the Sindh Provincial Assembly.

In the general elections, Shah secured a notable win, reflecting the ongoing democratic process in the country. The unofficial results indicate his success in the constituency amidst nationwide polling where citizens exercised their voting rights from 8 am to 5 pm.

With millions participating in the electoral process, the counting of votes continues across various constituencies. In the PS-77 Jamshoro 1 constituency, results from all 169 polling stations have been tabulated. According to the unofficial count, Murad Ali Shah of the PPP clinched victory with 66,100 votes, while Roshan Ali Barro of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) secured second place with 6,150 votes.

Shah’s win underscores the political dynamics in Sindh, as parties vie for representation in the provincial assembly. As the official results are awaited, the electoral landscape reflects the engagement and participation of citizens in shaping the future of the province and the nation.
