The Pakistani government has taken the decision to remove the names of several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Murad Saeed, Omar Ayub, and Fawad Chaudhry, from the Exit Control List (ECL). This decision was made by the cabinet based on recommendations from the country’s top anti-graft watchdog, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Among those granted relief are KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Ghulam Sarwar, Parvez Khattak, Shafqat Mahmood, Ijaz Shah, Ali Zaidi, Khusro Bakhtiar, Azam Swati, Asad Umar, Omar Ayub, Mehboob Sultan, Fawad Chaudhry, Farog Naseem, and Shireen Mazari.

However, the names of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, Farahat Shahzadi, and Zulfi Bukhari remain on the list. These PTI leaders were originally added to the ECL at the request of the National Accountability Bureau in connection with a case related to the Al Qadir University Trust.
