Nawaz Reports Ongoing 'Chest Pain' in LHC Submission

The medical report of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, who is scheduled to return to Pakistan on October 21 after several years in self-imposed exile in London, was submitted to the Lahore High Court.

The report states that Nawaz Sharif still suffers from “residual chest pain” and would require frequent follow-up visits to medical experts to monitor his condition.

Nawaz Sharif left for London in 2019 while serving a seven-year sentence on medical grounds and has since stayed there. His return has been a topic of discussion within the PML-N, with some suggesting it might be better to delay it until closer to the general elections.

However, Nawaz Sharif has reportedly made up his mind to return on the scheduled date.
