PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the main goal and agenda of party supremo Nawaz Sharif will be to provide relief to the masses, rescue them from their current situation, and eradicate economic difficulties. This statement was made during a party meeting to review preparations for Nawaz’s return to Pakistan.
The party president’s statement suggests that Nawaz Sharif’s focus, upon his return, will be on addressing public-oriented issues related to the economy and law and order, rather than seeking accountability for those he believes were responsible for his removal from office.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the revival of the economy, national unity, and the eradication of terrorism are the party’s top priorities. He presided over a meeting in Lahore to review the arrangements made for Nawaz’s reception on October 21.
Party leaders discussed their preparations for the rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, and Shehbaz Sharif praised their enthusiasm and instructed them to maintain effective communication with all party wings.
According to party sources, the PML-N leadership has agreed not to emphasize the narrative of accountability prominently. Instead, Nawaz Sharif may occasionally mention the topic in his speeches but will primarily focus on addressing people’s issues. A legal strategy has also been finalized by the party.
It is expected that the party will seek bail for Nawaz Sharif before his return, and they hope to set a precedent for future cases. The party’s narrative committee has completed its tasks and submitted feedback to the leadership, with a focus on addressing public concerns.
