Pakistan Women’s Team to Tour England for White-Ball Series in 2024

The Pakistan women’s cricket team is set to tour England in May 2024 for a series of three T20Is and three ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 matches. The tour will kick off with the first T20I in Birmingham on 11 May, followed by matches in Northampton on 17 May and Leeds on 19 May. The three ODIs will take place in Derby, Taunton, and Chelmsford on 23, 26, and 29 May, respectively.

In the ICC Women’s T20I Team Rankings, England holds the second position, while Pakistan is currently ranked seventh. As for the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, Pakistan is in third place with 10 points, and England is in seventh place with six points, having played one series of three ODIs less. England’s next Championship series is against Australia from 12 to 18 July. The series against England will mark the conclusion of Pakistan women’s participation in the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25.

Before the England tour, Pakistan will begin their 2023-24 season by hosting South Africa in Karachi from 1 to 14 September. This will be followed by series against Bangladesh (October/November, away), New Zealand (November/December, away), and West Indies (April/May, home).

In the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, Pakistan has achieved victories against Sri Lanka (2-1) and Ireland (3-0), but suffered a defeat of 3-0 against world champions Australia earlier this year.
