The Pakistan Army has successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Orakzai district, targeting terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network Fitna al Khwarij. The overnight operation, carried out between October 7 and 8, resulted in the elimination of 19 Indian-sponsored militants, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR confirmed that the terrorists suffered heavy losses, and their network was severely disrupted in the region. However, during the intense exchange of fire, 11 brave Pakistani soldiers were martyred while fighting valiantly for the nation.

Among the soldiers martyred were Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, aged 39, from Rawalpindi district, and Major Tayyab Rahat, aged 33, also from Rawalpindi. Both officers led their troops with courage and dedication until their last breath.

The ISPR stated, β€œLieutenant Colonel Junaid and Major Tayyab displayed exceptional leadership and fought fearlessly, embodying the true spirit of sacrifice.”
