A devastating suicide attack targeted a Pakistan Army convoy in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali area, killing 13 soldiers and injuring three civilians, including two children. The assault has been blamed on Indian-sponsored terrorists using an explosive-laden vehicle.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that despite efforts to intercept the attack, one of the military vehicles was struck. The tragic incident marks one of the deadliest assaults on security forces this year.

In a swift retaliatory move, Pakistani troops launched a sanitization operation, eliminating 14 terrorists involved in the ambush. The ISPR assured that the mission to wipe out terrorism will continue until peace is fully restored in the region.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur condemned the attack, paid tribute to the fallen heroes, and vowed that their sacrifice would not go in vain. He emphasized national unity in the face of such threats.
