Pakistan’s security forces eliminated 14 terrorists linked to the Indian-backed militant group Fitna-ul-Khawarij in a targeted operation in the Dattakhel area of North Waziristan, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
The intelligence-based operation was carried out during the night of June 2 and 3 after credible reports confirmed the presence of the group in the region. A fierce exchange of fire took place, resulting in the destruction of the militant hideout and the neutralization of all terrorists present.
