Pakistani security forces killed two militants during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan. Three other militants were wounded during the exchange of fire.

The operation targeted militants in the Killi Zaik area. The action followed intelligence reports about militant activity between Killi Zaik and Kaghli.

The area is located about 12 kilometres north of Baseema Camp. Security sources said an intense exchange of fire occurred during the operation.

One of the militants killed was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, also known as Koh Yar. Security forces later surrounded the area and launched a search operation.

During the search, forces recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. Several magazines and hand grenades were also found at the site.

Security personnel also recovered materials reportedly used to manufacture improvised explosive devices. The recovery suggested the militants may have been preparing for further attacks.

The operation comes amid continued security concerns in Balochistan. Authorities have reported efforts by militant groups to disrupt law and order.

Security forces have increased operations against groups involved in such activities. Officials say these efforts aim to prevent attacks and protect civilians.

The latest action also targeted elements identified by authorities as Fitna al-Hindustan. Security sources said the operation could weaken the group’s activities in the region.

Authorities have maintained that intelligence-based operations will continue across Balochistan. The focus remains on militant networks and their support infrastructure.

Military authorities have also reiterated their commitment to combating terrorism. They said operations would continue until terrorist threats are eliminated.

The authorities have linked these efforts with restoring lasting peace in Balochistan. They also stressed the importance of protecting the lives and property of citizens.

The operation in Killi Zaik is being viewed as another security action against militant networks. The recovery of IED-related materials has added significance to the operation.

According to security sources, the timely action prevented militants from carrying out possible attacks. The operation also disrupted their access to weapons and explosive-making materials.

The authorities said the campaign against Fitna al-Hindustan and other militant elements would continue. Security forces are expected to maintain intelligence-led operations in affected areas.
