The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has revealed that around 20 million attempts are made daily to access pornographic content in the country. Despite government bans, many users bypass restrictions using VPNs.

PTA has blocked millions of immoral websites and is working with ISPs to limit VPN misuse. Awareness campaigns are also being conducted to educate parents, teachers, and youth on the dangers of explicit content.
Efforts to curb such content have been ongoing since 2011, but experts say complete control remains a challenge.
