Over 21,900 Pakistanis Deported From Gulf Countries in 2026

More than 21,900 Pakistanis have been Deported from Gulf countries since March 1, 2026. Saudi Arabia accounted for the largest share, according to figures presented in the National Assembly.

The figures were shared through a written reply during Thursday’s Question Hour. The information was provided in response to questions raised by MNA Hameed Hussain.

The data covers deportations from Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Several immigration, legal, and security-related reasons were cited.

These included illegal entry or stay, visa violations, absconding, begging, and drug-related offences. Cases involving forged documents and security-related matters were also recorded.

Saudi Arabia Records Highest Deportations

Saudi Arabia accounted for the highest number of Pakistani nationals sent back during the reported period. According to the figures, 15,495 Pakistanis were Deported from Saudi Arabia.

The United Arab Emirates recorded the second-highest number, with 3,802 Pakistanis sent back. Bahrain and Oman each recorded 521 deportations.

Qatar sent back 429 Pakistani nationals, while Kuwait recorded 97 cases. The figures show that Saudi Arabia accounted for a substantial majority of the reported deportations.

Thousands Deported as Absconders

The National Assembly data also provided details about the reasons behind many cases. A total of 4,628 Pakistanis were sent back after being classified as absconders.

Another 1,294 individuals were reported as jailed, while 968 were blacklisted. Lost passports were involved in 1,155 cases.

Visa violations accounted for another 689 cases. The figures also showed that 342 Pakistanis were refused entry into Gulf countries.

Hundreds of Beggars Also Sent Back

The data included 472 Pakistani nationals who were Deported over begging-related cases.

Nine Pakistanis were returned from the UAE through Interpol, according to the provided figures. Other cases involved expired iqamas and expired passports.

Authorities also recorded cases involving impersonation, theft, and onward-travel refusals. Additional immigration violations were included among the reasons for deportation.

The figures highlight the range of legal and immigration issues faced by some Pakistanis travelling or residing in Gulf states. Gulf countries remain important destinations for Pakistani workers and expatriates.

Travellers and workers should ensure their visas, passports, residence permits, and other documents remain valid. They should also follow immigration and local laws in their host countries.
