Private Hajj bookings have increased after the Ministry of Religious Affairs intensified monitoring of the registration process. More than 21,000 applications have been submitted through the Pak Hajj App so far.

According to ministry officials, a total of 21,547 applications have been received through the official application. Around 50,000 seats are still available under the private scheme for pilgrims.

The ministry has advised pilgrims to complete their Hajj payments through official channels only. Officials warned people against making payments directly to individuals or unauthorised Hajj companies.

The ministry stated that approximately Rs18 billion has already been transferred to the accounts of approved Hajj companies through the Hajj Portal. This payment process is being monitored to ensure transparency in the registration system.

According to officials, 45% of the total amount was paid through digital payment methods. The remaining 55% was deposited through manual bank challans.

The government has announced November 20 as the last date for registration under the private Hajj scheme. Pilgrims are required to complete their applications and payments before the deadline.

Currently, applicants can select from more than 2,000 Hajj packages available through 25 authorised Hajj companies. These packages include different options based on pilgrims’ requirements and preferences.

The ministry has also encouraged applicants to use the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal for all official procedures. These platforms provide details about registration, payments, and available packages.

Officials have asked pilgrims to report any issues or complaints through the inquiry option available on the Hajj Portal. This step aims to address concerns during the booking process.

The Private Hajj system allows pilgrims to select approved operators while following government regulations. The ministry continues to oversee the process to ensure that only authorised companies handle registrations and payments.

Pilgrims planning to perform Hajj have been advised to verify their selected operator before submitting payments. The ministry has also stressed the importance of using official platforms to avoid possible fraud or payment-related problems.
