ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved the induction of nine armed forces officers into civil services.
The decision follows the completion of the required selection process. The officers were selected through the Competitive Examination 2025.
According to the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), nine candidates from Pakistan’s three armed forces were declared successful.
The selected officers completed the psychological assessment and viva voce stages. They were later approved for induction into different civil service groups.
Five officers have been inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). Two officers will join the Police Service of Pakistan.
Another two officers have been inducted into the Foreign Service of Pakistan. The PAS received the largest share of the approved inductions.
The FPSC issued a formal notification confirming the appointments. The notification includes details about the successful candidates and their respective service groups.
The induction marks another route through which armed forces officers can enter the civil services. The selected officers will now join their assigned cadres after completing the required formalities.
