Tragedy In Karachi As Child Dies Due To Aerial Firing At Rally

A tragic incident of Aerial firing has once again raised concerns about public safety during political and celebratory events.

The incident took place when a political partyโ€™s rally was passing through a residential area. According to police and family members, a young boy was seriously injured during the event.

The victim was identified as Aryan, a third-grade student. He was standing near the grill of his house on the second floor. Aryan was watching the rally when a bullet struck him unexpectedly.

Family members said the rally participants were involved in Aerial firing. Witnesses claimed that individuals were taking turns firing shots into the air. The reckless act turned deadly within moments.

Aryanโ€™s uncle, Waseem, said one of the shooters was caught at the scene. The suspect was immediately handed over to the police. A case was registered soon after the arrest.

Police confirmed that the arrested suspect was identified as Farooq. A pistol was recovered from his possession. During questioning, the suspect reportedly disclosed the names of others involved.

Gulberg police stated that raids are underway to arrest the remaining suspects. Authorities added that investigations are ongoing to determine responsibility and negligence.

The incident has renewed calls for strict action against Aerial firing, especially during public gatherings. Law enforcement officials have repeatedly warned that such acts pose serious risks to innocent lives.

In a similar incident earlier, a 17-year-old girl lost her life in Karachiโ€™s Shah Latif Town. The tragedy occurred during celebratory Aerial firing at a wedding ceremony.

The victim, Fatima Ahmed, was attending her cousinโ€™s wedding. She was hit in the neck by a bullet and died on the spot. Police said the shot was fired by her uncle, the groomโ€™s father.

According to SSP Malir Abdul Khaliq Pirzada, the accused opened fire inside the house. The bullet struck the girl during or shortly after the wedding celebrations.

Police later arrested the suspect and registered a murder case. Officials stressed that firing into the air is a punishable crime.

Authorities have urged citizens to avoid Aerial firing under all circumstances. They warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who endanger lives through such reckless behavior.
