Another PIA Crew Member Reported Missing in Toronto

Another flight attendant from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has gone missing in Canada. The crew member, identified as Mohsin Raza, was last reported in Toronto and was scheduled to report for a flight from Karachi on October 13.

Hailing from Islamabad, Mohsin failed to arrive at the hotel before the scheduled departure of flight PK 784, prompting concerns about his disappearance. This incident marks a troubling trend, as more than twelve PIA attendants have reportedly gone missing in Toronto over the past year.

Sources indicate that the airline’s policy, which requires crew members to submit their passports to airline authorities in Toronto, has not proven effective in preventing such incidents.

A PIA spokesperson confirmed that the airline’s management has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohsin’s disappearance. The airline has stated that strict disciplinary action, potentially including termination of employment, will be taken against those found guilty of misconduct.

This is not the first case of a missing flight attendant, as Noor Sher, another crew member from the 16-member team assigned to flight PK 781 from Pakistan to Toronto, also vanished in June. Reports suggest that many of these missing attendants may have applied for asylum in Canada.
