The government has announced that petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) prices will remain unchanged for the next two weeks, effective from November 16, 2024. According to a notification from the Finance Division, petrol will continue to be priced at Rs248.38 per litre, and HSD will stay at Rs255.14 per litre.

This announcement follows earlier reports speculating a potential price hike of up to Rs6 per litre. However, the decision to keep prices steady comes after a recent fuel price adjustment in which the price of petrol was reduced by Rs1.35, while HSD saw an increase of Rs3.85.
