7 BLA Militants Killed in Security Operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces eliminated seven terrorists affiliated with the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), also known as Fitna al Hindustan, during two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan, the military’s media wing reported on Tuesday.

The first operation took place in the Mach area of Kachhi district, where troops, acting on precise intelligence about militants’ presence, engaged in a fierce gunfight that resulted in the deaths of five suspected BLA members.

In a second operation conducted in the Margand area of Kalat district, security forces raided a militant hideout, killing two more suspected BLA operatives during an exchange of fire.

The ISPR confirmed the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from both sites and accused the slain militants of being involved in India-backed terrorism and multiple attacks on security forces and infrastructure in the region.

The statement emphasized the security forces’ commitment to eradicating terrorism and reaffirmed the nation’s determination to bring terrorists and their supporters to justice.

These operations are part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the turbulent province, where insurgent groups continue to carry out occasional attacks on state targets.
