A devastating bomb explosion near a vehicle in Shahrag, Harnai claimed the lives of 10 coal mine workers and left 6 others injured, according to Levies officials.
Authorities confirmed that the blast occurred close to a vehicle transporting coal miners from Swat. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Condemnations and Government Response
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, expressing deep sorrow for the victims and their families. He instructed authorities to provide the best possible medical care to the injured and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the province.
“Terrorists targeting innocent civilians will not be spared. We will continue decisive action against those disrupting Balochistan’s peace,” he stated.
Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan also expressed grief over the tragic incident, calling it heartbreaking that innocent workers were attacked. He assured that security forces are actively working to prevent such acts of violence.
He further stated that those who harm innocent civilians deserve no mercy, offering prayers for the deceased and their bereaved families.
Similarly, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, extending his condolences and praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
“Those responsible for such inhumane acts will face justice,” he asserted.
Security forces have launched an investigation, with authorities vowing to enhance anti-terrorism efforts in the region to prevent further incidents.
