Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has acknowledged the diplomatic efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in helping secure a ceasefire between Pakistan and India amid escalating tensions.
Speaking at a press conference at the United Nations Headquarters, Bhutto-Zardari accused India of launching attacks using Israeli drones, drawing parallels between India and Israel in their alleged violations of international laws. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and peace in the region, saying that both Pakistani and Indian citizens desire stability.

Highlighting the recent conflict, Bhutto-Zardari condemned India’s cross-border strikes on Pakistani territory on May 7, claiming they breached the UN Charter and targeted civilian infrastructure. He said the attacks led to loss of innocent lives and damage to religious sites and dams.
He also took aim at the Indian government, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration of ongoing human rights abuses. Bhutto-Zardari urged the international community to take serious notice of India’s actions and intervene to prevent further escalation.
