A shocking case has emerged in Lahore, where a blind woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and forced into begging by a man who lured her with false promises of financial help and marriage.
According to police, the blind woman stated that the accused first approached her under the pretext of offering assistance. Trusting him, she went with him to Lahore, where he began exploiting her both physically and financially.
The victim revealed that the man repeatedly assaulted her and then forced her to beg on the streets. He would take all the money she earned, leaving her with nothing. She said the accused manipulated her emotions by promising marriage and persuaded her to divorce her previous husband.
Once she complied, the man allegedly stole her gold jewelry and cash, abandoning her in a state of emotional and financial despair. The blind woman endured months of abuse before she managed to escape and return to her home in the B-Plot area.
Upon her return, she gathered the courage to approach the police and share her ordeal. She told officers that the accused had threatened to kill her if she tried to seek help or report him.
