Authorities recovered bloodstained carpets from Armughan’s residence, which matched the DNA of the victim. Mustafa Amir was reported missing on January 6, and a kidnapping case was subsequently filed.

The police arrested Armughan from Karachi’s Defence area, identifying him as being involved in cryptocurrency and other illegal activities. According to investigators, Mustafa Amir was called to Armughan’s house, where a dispute led to his murder.

During a search of Armughan’s house, law enforcement recovered 64 laptops and a mobile phone belonging to the suspect, along with the arrest of two of his employees. Additionally, Rs. 5 million in allegedly illicit funds were seized.

Investigators are now probing the sources of Armughan’s income and the origins of the recovered money. To confirm the victim’s identity, DNA samples from Mustafa Amir’s family have been sent for comparison with the remains.

The police confirmed that the body found in the burned car was unrecognizable due to severe burns. It has been transferred to a cold storage facility for further forensic examination. Investigations are ongoing to uncover additional details surrounding the case.
