Cambridge Confirms Computer Science Paper Leak, Exam Decision Updated

Cambridge International Education has confirmed that another exam paper has been leaked. The organization said the Computer Science paper was also affected. Earlier, Mathematics papers were already reported as compromised.

In an official communication, Cambridge confirms that both Computer Science and Mathematics exams scheduled for May 12 will not be retaken. Instead, alternative grading arrangements will be applied.

According to the update, students will receive assessed marks based on the second component of each subject. These scores will be used to determine final results.

The decision comes after multiple reports of paper leaks created concern among students and parents. Authorities have been investigating the matter for several days.

Cambridge confirms that the postponed Mathematics paper, which was delayed earlier on May 15, will now be held on June 8. Officials say arrangements are being finalized for the revised schedule.

Country Head Azma Yusuf stated that investigations into the leaks are still ongoing. She added that all necessary steps are being taken to maintain exam integrity.

Earlier, a high-level meeting was held at the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control. The session was chaired by Secretary Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha.

Officials from education, security, and foreign affairs departments attended the meeting. Representatives from Cambridge Assessment International Education and the British Council were also present.

During the meeting, concerns were raised about the alleged leakage of O Level Mathematics papers. Authorities stressed the need for transparency and swift action.

The British Deputy High Commissioner suggested that the incident appeared more like theft rather than a full system leak. Cambridge representatives maintained that strict procedures are in place to ensure exam security.

Cambridge confirms it will continue working with local authorities to resolve the issue. The organization has assured that updates will be shared as investigations progress.

Security agencies have been directed to complete a thorough inquiry. Officials are also reviewing how the breach occurred and whether additional safeguards are needed.

The situation has raised concerns across the academic community. Students and parents are now awaiting final clarity on exam outcomes and future schedules.
