Islamabad โ Fresh questions have surfaced regarding the proposed allotment of new CDA Plots worth around Rs. 3 billion in various sectors of Islamabad. Sources allege that officials moved quickly to push the process before the new management assumes office.
According to insiders, the CDAโs Directorate of Land and Rehabilitation has been preparing for a balloting process planned for next week. Long meetings with property dealers and late-night office work have reportedly become common in recent days.
The proposed allotment involves nearly 300 CDA Plots in sectors D-13, E-13, and F-13. Sources claim these moves coincided with recent administrative changes in the offices of the CDA chairman and Member Estate.
Officials allegedly rushed the process amid concerns that the current officers in the department may soon be replaced. Reports also claim that Deputy Director Chaudhry Nazir met with five prominent property dealers and prepared land sharing files, with financial dealings reportedly worth millions of rupees.
Public concern has grown as previous allegations suggest that 334 plots had already been allotted in the same sectors. Critics say earlier allotments favored certain investors and allowed personal gains, raising transparency issues.
Citizens have called on CDA Chairman Suhail Ashraf and the Member Estate to immediately halt any further allotment of CDA Plots. They have urged a full physical audit of all relevant files before any new decisions are made.
