CDA Crackdown in Islamabad: Illegal Housing Offices Sealed in Zone 4

CDA Crackdown in Islamabad: Illegal Housing Offices Sealed in Zone 4

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched a strong enforcement operation in Islamabad’s Zone 4. Several illegal housing society offices were sealed during the action. Authorities said the step was taken after repeated violations and public complaints.

Officials confirmed that unauthorized projects, including Islamabad Green Paradise and Shaheen Town Islamabad, were targeted. These offices were used for marketing, sales, and administrative work without approval. Residents and investors were advised to avoid such schemes to Face CDA action.

The operation is being carried out under the Capital Development Authority Ordinance 1960. It also includes strict enforcement of zoning regulations and private housing rules. Officials said multiple legal sections were applied due to serious violations.

According to CDA, these societies were involved in illegal plot sales without required NOCs. Authorities warned that any continued violation would Face CDA action without further notice. The crackdown aims to stop fraud and protect citizens from financial loss.

Enforcement teams sealed site offices and promotional centers of the involved housing schemes. These locations were reportedly used for aggressive marketing campaigns. Officials said such activities misled the public and violated urban planning laws.

CDA has also ordered utility companies to disconnect electricity and gas connections to illegal projects. Any continued development or land transactions in these schemes will also Face CDA action under strict legal measures.

Authorities have urged citizens to verify the legal status of housing societies before investing. They emphasized checking official NOC approval to avoid fraud. Updated lists of approved and non-approved schemes are available on the CDA website.

Officials warned that ignoring guidelines may lead to serious financial risks. They said strict monitoring is underway to ensure compliance across Islamabad’s housing sector.

Media organizations have also been instructed not to advertise illegal housing projects. The CDA stated that public awareness is key to stopping fraudulent real estate practices.

Authorities reiterated that any illegal housing activity will Face CDA action without exception. The ongoing crackdown is part of a broader effort to enforce planning laws and protect citizens in the capital.
