Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced on Saturday that the delivery of Negahban ATM Cards under the province’s historic Ramadan Relief Package has officially begun. The initiative aims to provide financial support to families across Punjab during the holy month of Ramzan.
The Chief Minister shared the announcement on her social media accounts, highlighting the importance of public service and the government’s commitment to helping citizens in need. She described the program as a moment of gratitude and responsibility, emphasizing care and respect for all beneficiaries.
This Rs40 billion initiative will assist around 4 million families. Each family will receive direct financial support through Negahban ATM Cards, ensuring ease and convenience. The government has ensured that there are no long queues, no hardships, and that assistance reaches families quickly and safely.
The entire registration and distribution process is digital and fully transparent. The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is managing the system to ensure accountability at every stage. Officials said the digital process reduces errors and makes it easier for eligible families to receive their Ramadan Relief without delay.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that the program reflects the government’s dedication to supporting vulnerable citizens during Ramzan. She encouraged families to complete their registrations and collect their ATM cards promptly to benefit from the assistance.
