A new weather system has brought cloud cover to Punjab, with light rain possible in districts such as Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and the Pothohar Division. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), while clouds will continue to blanket the region, rain is unlikely in most areas, including Lahore.
The PMD reported that the weather system is expected to move out of Pakistan by tonight, lowering the chances of further precipitation. In Lahore, the minimum temperature has dropped to 8°C, with a maximum of 24°C expected, as the city experiences a dry, cooler spell.

Despite the cloudy skies, residents should not expect significant rainfall, although cooler temperatures will persist. The PMD has advised people to prepare for a chilly day ahead.
The weather shift has brought a brief respite from the usual winter chill in Lahore and other districts, with cloudy conditions predicted to last for the next two days. Experts suggest that this cold spell may not last long as the weather system moves away.
