ISLAMABAD – The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially released the CSS 2026 examination date sheet. The highly competitive written exams are scheduled to start from 4th February 2026, marking the beginning of a crucial phase for aspiring civil servants across Pakistan.
On the first day, candidates will sit for the English Essay paper, designed to assess their command of language and ideas. The following day, 5th February, the English Precis & Composition paper will test precision, analytical skills, and writing ability.
General Knowledge papers are planned over three consecutive days, from 6th to 8th February 2026, covering current affairs, Pakistan studies, and international topics. Islamiyat will be tested for Muslim candidates, while non-Muslim candidates will take Comparative Study of Religions on 9th February, ensuring evaluation aligns with candidates’ respective backgrounds.
Optional subject papers are scheduled from 10th to 15th February 2026, with morning and evening sessions for different subject groups. FPSC emphasized that candidates must carefully follow the date sheet and adhere to instructions regarding exam centers, roll number slips, and other guidelines to avoid any inconvenience.
Authorities also advised aspirants to plan their preparation efficiently, as CSS 2026 is expected to be highly competitive, drawing the brightest minds nationwide. Proper time management and focused revision are key to success in this challenging examination.
