Police in Karachi have released the son of a senior officer after a brief detention in a case involving alleged over misbehaving with officers during a late-night check.
The incident took place in DHA Phase VII during snap checking. Officers stopped a vehicle with a government-style number plate and flashing lights. A hooter was also being used.

During the exchange, Khubaib reportedly identified himself as the son of SSP Naseem Ara Panhwar. He also asked officers to call his mother during the incident.
Police detained him shortly after the confrontation. An FIR was registered for interfering with official duties. Later, he was released on bail after legal procedures were completed.
