Officials from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) confirmed seismic activity but said the exact magnitude and epicentre would be disclosed after a full assessment is completed.

Seismologists attribute such events to tectonic movements beneath the Earthโ€™s crust, noting Pakistanโ€™s vulnerability due to its position near the Indian and Eurasian plate boundary. While no emergency measures were necessary, local rescue teams remain on alert.
