A 60-year-old woman, identified as Musarat Bibi, was shot and killed in a targeted attack by unidentified assailants in the Rawat area of Rawalpindi on Sunday.
According to local media, Musarat Bibi, a property owner and real estate agent, had gone to show a plot of land to potential buyers near Chak Beli Road when she was ambushed.

Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers opened fire from a moving vehicle before fleeing the scene. The reason behind the attack is still unknown.
Police arrived at the scene promptly and transported the body to a nearby hospital for autopsy. An FIR has been filed, and investigations are currently in progress.
Senior police officials, including the City Police Officer, visited the location, collected evidence, and instructed the SP Saddar Division to prepare a comprehensive report and ensure the early arrest of those responsible. Authorities say they are pursuing several leads and exploring multiple angles in the ongoing investigation.
