Rising petrol prices in Pakistan, now reaching around Rs400 per litre, are pushing consumers toward electric mobility. However, high upfront costs remain a major barrier for most buyers.
Electric scooters in the market cost around Rs1.5 to Rs2 lakh. This price range makes it difficult for many people to switch to electric transport. To solve this issue, companies are offering flexible payment options through Electric Bike Installment plans.
Under the new system, customers can now purchase OKLA electric bikes with easy monthly payments. The Electric Bike Installment option includes 0% markup for up to six months. Longer repayment plans are also available for up to 36 months.
Monthly installments start from around Rs7,500, depending on the selected model. This makes electric bikes more accessible for daily commuters who want to reduce fuel expenses.
Several models are included in the Electric Bike Installment program. These include Orbit (1000W), Onyx (1200W), OKT Eco, Graphene Series, and OMO Graphene (2000W high-performance model).
The Orbit model is considered the most affordable option. It is designed for short-distance travel and daily use. Higher-end models offer better battery range and stronger performance.
Processing fees may apply based on the installment plan. However, the 0% markup option remains available for short-term financing, making the Electric Bike Installment scheme more attractive for buyers.
Industry experts say this financing model is helping increase EV adoption in Pakistan. It reduces the initial financial burden and allows more people to shift toward clean transport.
With fuel prices continuing to rise, many consumers are now considering electric alternatives. The Electric Bike Installment plans are seen as a practical solution for budget-conscious riders.
