The federal government has appointed Telecom DG at IT Ministry, Faisal Ratyal, as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Information Technology Board (NITB).
According to an official notification, the decision was made in line with the resolution passed by NITB Board of Directors during its May 6 meeting. The appointment has been made under the NITB (Appointment, Powers and Functions of Chief Executive Officer) Regulations, 2025, and takes immediate effect.
