The engine of the Farid Express caught fire near Kahror Pakka Railway Station on Friday.

Farid Express Passengers Left Waiting
The Farid Express was travelling from Karachi to Lahore when its engine caught fire near Kahror Pakka. The train could not continue its journey because of the engine problem.
Passengers were forced to wait at the station until another engine could be arranged. Families and children reportedly faced difficulties during the prolonged delay.

The station master said railway authorities in Multan had been informed about the situation.
Officials requested a replacement engine so the train could resume its journey toward Lahore. According to the station master, the train could depart once the replacement engine arrived.
He said officials expected the train to resume its journey if another engine arrived by 6pm. Passengers remained dependent on the replacement engine before they could continue travelling.
No Casualties Reported in Engine Fire
Despite the disruption, no casualties were reported in the incident. The fire affected the locomotive rather than causing any reported loss of life among passengers.
