Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), expressed his gratitude to the nation on Saturday after US President Donald Trump brokered a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. Speaking about the ceasefire, Fazl acknowledged Pakistan’s resilience and the unity displayed during the tense period.
Rehman emphasized that the nation’s success was achieved with divine support and the steadfastness of the people, particularly the political leadership and Pakistan’s armed forces. He congratulated the entire nation for their unwavering determination.

He also offered prayers for the innocent civilians who lost their lives in the recent conflict, calling their martyrdom a sacrifice for peace. According to Fazl, the attempts by India and Israel to destabilize the region had been thwarted.
Rehman further praised Pakistan’s defense forces and political leadership for successfully defending the country and compelling the enemy to retreat. He prayed for continued protection and for the nation to be blessed with the true essence of an Islamic welfare state.
