ISLAMABAD: Fuel prices for petrol and high-speed diesel will remain unchanged for the next three days.
The price of petrol will stay at Rs325.43 per litre. High-speed diesel will remain available at Rs383.95 per litre.
The current Fuel Prices will remain effective until Monday. The rates follow the latest revision announced on Thursday.
On Thursday, petrol became Rs0.45 more expensive. Its price increased to Rs325.43 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel also increased during the revision. Diesel became Rs1.16 more expensive and reached Rs383.95 per litre.
The government has been updating petroleum prices on a daily basis. The latest figures show significant changes since the daily pricing system began.
According to the available data, petrol has increased by Rs13.13 per litre since daily revisions started. Diesel has recorded a much larger increase.
The price of diesel has risen by Rs54.44 per litre over the same period. These changes have affected transportation and other fuel-dependent sectors.
The daily pricing record shows that petrol stood at Rs324.98 per litre on August 12. Diesel was priced at Rs382.79 per litre that day.
On August 11, petrol was available at Rs325.92 per litre. Diesel was priced at Rs382.25 per litre.
Petrol reached Rs327.62 per litre on August 10. The diesel price stood at Rs380.86 per litre.
On August 6, petrol was priced at Rs329.82 per litre. Diesel was available at Rs383.36 per litre.
Petrol had reached Rs333.01 per litre on August 5. Diesel was priced at Rs383.86 per litre.
The highest recent rates were recorded toward the end of July. Petrol stood at Rs336.15 per litre on July 30.
Diesel reached Rs393.04 per litre on the same day. Both prices later declined during the following daily revisions.
On July 21, petrol was priced at Rs320.73 per litre. Diesel stood at Rs367.21 per litre.
Before daily pricing began, petrol was priced at Rs310.71 per litre. Diesel stood at Rs323.30 per litre between July 11 and 17.
The latest Fuel Prices provide temporary stability for consumers. However, prices have changed frequently since daily revisions were introduced.
The unchanged rates mean motorists will continue paying Rs325.43 for petrol. Diesel users will pay Rs383.95 per litre until Monday.
The government’s daily pricing mechanism allows rates to be adjusted based on market conditions. Further changes could be announced after the current period ends.
