Gen Asim Munir Celebrates  Eid with Troops at Western Border

Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir celebrated Eid Al-Fitr with officers and troops stationed along the western border, offering prayers and extending heartfelt wishes for national peace and prosperity.

During his visit to Wana in South Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) joined the soldiers in Eid prayers.

He conveyed his sincere wishes for the well-being of the country and expressed gratitude to the troops for their unwavering dedication. Addressing the soldiers, Gen Munir acknowledged their sacrifices, stating, “Your resilience not only safeguards the nation but also exemplifies true patriotism.”

He commended the officers and soldiers for their steadfast commitment and exemplary service, highlighting their vital role in ensuring border security.

Additionally, Gen Munir praised the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their bravery in combating terrorism.

“The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have consistently shown immense courage in resisting terrorism,” he remarked.
