Ghaziabad House Explosion in Lahore Injures Three, Roof Collapses

A strong explosion rocked a house in Lahore’s Ghaziabad neighborhood on Tuesday, injuring three people, including two children, and causing the roof of the upper floor to collapse, officials from the police and rescue services reported.

The blast took place inside a residential building, sparking panic among nearby residents. The injured were promptly given first aid and transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. Early reports indicate that all three sustained serious injuries but are currently receiving care.

Rescue teams arrived quickly at the scene to begin clearing rubble and debris. According to emergency personnel, the explosion not only destroyed the roof of the affected home but also caused damage to neighboring houses.

A police representative stated, “We are investigating whether the explosion resulted from a gas leak, electrical short circuit, or another factor. At this point, all possibilities are being considered.”

Rescue teams continue to work at the site, focusing on clearing debris and ensuring safety in the area.
