A shocking gold heist took place at a jewellery shop in Jalalpur Pirwala, about 90 kilometers from Multan, leaving residents stunned. The daring robbery, carried out by a group of women, was captured on surveillance cameras and quickly went viral on social media.
The CCTV footage shows the women entering the jewellery shop with their faces covered. While one woman distracted the shopkeeper by engaging him in conversation, another discreetly grabbed a pack of gold rings displayed on the counter. She then handed it to a third accomplice, who cleverly hid the stolen gold inside her “dupatta” while carrying a toddler in her arms.
Police officials said they are analyzing the surveillance footage to identify the suspects involved in the gold heist. They have also launched an investigation to trace the culprits and recover the stolen jewellery.
Local residents expressed disbelief at the precision and confidence with which the women carried out the act. Many pointed out that criminals often overlook the presence of security cameras, which record every move inside modern shops.
The gold heist has sparked discussions on social media about rising thefts and the need for stronger security measures in commercial areas. Authorities have urged jewellery shop owners to remain alert and to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
Police have also increased patrolling in the area to prevent similar incidents. Meanwhile, the viral video continues to circulate online, serving as both a warning and a reminder that surveillance systems play a crucial role in solving such crimes.
