Malik also clarified that recent reports about the federal cabinet approving a 15% stake sale in the Reko Diq project to Saudi Arabia were inaccurate. He added that a committee overseeing the deal has completed its work, but the transaction is still under discussion.
The government is hopeful that a deal will be reached soon, with expectations for completion by early 2025.
