Police in Gujranwala have arrested a young man over allegations involving marrying a foreign transgender person. The case was registered after a complaint was submitted by the transgender person.

In another incident, an unidentified attacker shot and killed a transgender person near Hasan Ghari on Warsak Road.
Police said unknown armed individuals opened fire in the area. The transgender victim was identified as Bijli.
The attacker fled the scene after the shooting, according to police. Authorities have started an investigation to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the killing.
Police are collecting information about the shooting and the circumstances surrounding the incident. No arrests have been reported in that case so far.
