Social media is flooded with unverified reports claiming that Pakistani forces have captured an Indian pilot following the downing of another Rafale jet during a recent aerial confrontation.

According to these circulating claims, the pilot—allegedly identified as “Shivangi Singh”—was detained in Hajira, a town located in the Poonch district of Azad Kashmir. However, no official confirmation or statement has been issued by Pakistani or Indian authorities regarding this development.

These reports emerged after Pakistan launched a strong retaliatory campaign under “Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos” (Iron Wall), which reflects the country’s united resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

As part of this operation, several major Indian military installations were reportedly destroyed. State media claimed that Pakistan successfully targeted a BrahMos missile storage facility in Beas and carried out destructive strikes on Udhampur Airbase and the Pathankot airfield.
