The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced a fully funded scholarship opportunity for Pakistani students who want to pursue a Master’s degree in Thailand.
The scholarship is being offered under the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Post-Graduate Scholarship Program 2027. The program is launched by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Thailand, for international students.
According to HEC, applications are now open for eligible candidates interested in research-based Master’s programs. The scholarship is available in selected science-related fields, including Applied Biological Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences.
The fully funded scholarship will cover major educational and living expenses. Selected students will receive support for tuition fees, academic costs, laboratory expenses, and thesis-related requirements.
The program will also provide benefits including international airfare, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, visa fee support, and relocation assistance. Other necessary expenses may also be covered according to CGI policies.
HEC has clarified that the scholarship is directly offered by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute in Thailand. The commission is only sharing the opportunity with Pakistani students and will not be responsible for financial matters related to the scholarship.
The deadline to apply for the CGI Post-Graduate Scholarship Program 2027 is 31 August 2026. The results are expected to be announced around January 2027.
The scholarship is designed for students who want advanced education in science and research fields. It provides an opportunity to study at CGI, a specialized institute focused on graduate-level research and innovation.
Eligible applicants must meet several requirements before applying. Candidates should be under 30 years of age and must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2.75 CGPA out of 4.00 or equivalent.
Applicants should have an academic background in relevant fields. These include Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
Candidates must also have experience in scientific laboratory research. They are required to provide proof of English language ability through IELTS, TOEFL, or other accepted documents.
Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose explaining their academic goals and reasons for choosing their selected field of study.
