The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced the establishment of a Customs Command Fund to boost the country’s efforts against smuggling.
As per the FBR notification, informants who share reliable details about smuggled items can receive advance rewards, with compensation reaching up to Rs 500,000.

The fund will also finance various costs linked to anti-smuggling activities.
Moreover, customs officers who participate in successful anti-smuggling operations will be eligible for special rewards and incentives aimed at improving their performance in the field.
