The Karachi Air Show, part of the ongoing IDEAS 2024 Defence Exhibition, will take place at Sea View Beach in Karachi, showcasing live demonstrations from all three branches of Pakistan’s armed forces. The event promises thrilling displays of military might, including the Pakistan Navy’s Sea King helicopters, the Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder and F-16 jets, and a precision parachute drop by SSG Commandos.
This event, aimed at both local and international dignitaries, will highlight Pakistan’s military readiness and foster international defense cooperation. The Haadif Small Arms Simulator, introduced at the expo, reflects Pakistan’s focus on enhancing soldier training with advanced technology.

Traffic Alert: Due to the air show at Nishan-e-Pakistan (Sea View) from 1:45 PM to 5:35 PM, expect road closures and heavy congestion, particularly around DHA Phases 5, 6, and 8. Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue will experience significant delays, so alternate routes are advised. Schools in the area are closing early to accommodate the event.
